Course Overview

This course provides learners with an understanding of hand-arm vibration syndrome, its causes, health effects and the controls organisations use to manage vibration exposure. Learners will explore what constitutes harmful vibration, how HAVS develops, employer and employee duties, health surveillance requirements and practical control measures. The course supports compliance with the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005.
