Course Overview

This course provides learners with an understanding of legionella bacteria, the conditions that support their growth and the legal responsibilities of duty holders. Learners will explore the health risks associated with Legionnaires disease, how water systems are assessed and controlled and the importance of routine monitoring and record-keeping. The course supports compliance with ACOP L8 and HSG274 and is suitable for anyone with responsibility for water system management.
