Course Overview

This course provides learners with the knowledge required to recognise asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and understand the risks associated with asbestos exposure. Learners will explore the history of asbestos use, where asbestos may still be found, the health effects of exposure and the legal requirements for managing asbestos risks. The course focuses on awareness-level knowledge and is intended for individuals who may encounter asbestos during their work but are not licensed to remove or disturb asbestos-containing materials.
