Course Overview

This course provides learners with an understanding of behavioural safety and how human factors influence workplace incidents and near misses. Learners will explore theories of human behaviour, cognitive biases, at-risk behaviours, behaviour-based safety observation programmes and leadership behaviours that support a positive safety culture. The course is suitable for managers, safety professionals and supervisors seeking to improve safety performance.
