Course Overview

This course provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of the hazards associated with working in confined spaces and the controls required to manage them safely. Learners will explore what constitutes a confined space, the legal duties placed on employers and workers, permit-to-work systems, atmospheric testing, emergency rescue arrangements and safe systems of work. The course equips workers and supervisors with the knowledge to plan and carry out confined space entries safely and in compliance with UK legislation.
