Course Overview

This course provides learners with an understanding of data classification frameworks and the handling requirements associated with each classification level. Learners will explore how information is classified, the risks of misclassification, secure handling of physical and digital information, transmission controls and disposal requirements. The course supports compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and organisational information security policies.
