Course Overview

This course provides learners with an understanding of the risks of drug and alcohol misuse in the workplace, the legal context for employers and employees, and the support available to those with substance dependency. Learners will explore the effects of common substances on workplace performance and safety, testing regimes, policy requirements and the manager's role in identifying and supporting affected workers.
