Course Overview

This course provides learners with an understanding of workplace electrical hazards and the controls required to prevent injury, fire and equipment damage. Learners will explore the effects of electricity on the human body, common causes of electrical incidents and the importance of safe working practices. The course focuses on awareness-level knowledge suitable for employees who may encounter electrical equipment but are not carrying out specialist electrical work.
