Course Overview

This Health & Safety Induction course provides employees, contractors and temporary workers with the fundamental knowledge required to work safely and responsibly within the workplace. Learners will gain an understanding of health and safety legislation, employer and employee responsibilities, common workplace hazards, emergency arrangements, accident reporting procedures and the importance of following safe systems of work. The course also introduces key topics such as fire safety, personal protective equipment, workplace welfare facilities and consultation arrangements. By completing this training, learners will understand how to contribute to a positive safety culture and reduce the likelihood of accidents, injuries and unsafe behaviours.
