Course Overview

This course provides learners with an understanding of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) and the responsibilities associated with safe work equipment management. Learners will explore equipment hazards, inspection requirements, maintenance obligations and competence requirements. The course explains how PUWER supports accident prevention by ensuring equipment is suitable, maintained and used safely throughout its operational life.
