Course Overview

This course provides learners with an understanding of the health and safety hazards specific to welding activities and the controls required to manage them. Learners will explore fume and gas hazards, fire and explosion risks, electrical safety, eye protection, ergonomic hazards and the respiratory health effects of welding fume. The course supports compliance with COSHH, PUWER and HSE guidance on welding fume.
